ConnectSci: a new destination for trusted science

October 23rd, 2025

Our new website for digital content brings together science news, journals and eBooks.

An over-the-shoulder view of a laptop screen as someone browses the ConnectSci website.

As Australia’s leading science publisher of science news, peer-reviewed journals, and books, our purpose is to enhance the impact of science by communicating the outcomes of research, empowering decision makers, and enriching the lives of all our readers.

In an increasingly global, online and Open Science-focused scholarly publishing landscape, it was time to revamp our digital experience.

Introducing ConnectSci, the first comprehensive Australian source for science content.

Still powered by the same editorially independent team at CSIRO Publishing, connectsci.au prioritises accessibility, discoverability and functionality.

The website hosts a rich archive of peer-reviewed scholarly articles, over 700 eBooks and science news articles.  New tools and technology allow us to better curate content for libraries and service our authors and readers with enhanced navigation, view options, and notification preferences.

Our journal readers and authors will appreciate new features, such as:

  • better search filtering across article types and subjects

  • nuanced email notification options, including weekly new content and saved search alerts.

Split view allows readers to view other content, such as figures, along side an article.

eBooks and packages from CSIRO Publishing

You can still purchase eBooks from your retailer of choice, but now our titles are also available from ConnectSci.

Our eBooks offering includes collection pages offering libraries the option to curate diverse content across products and subjects.
